Who is Responsible for RTO Auditing?

ASQA Auditors In Australia, the responsibility for RTOauditing is held by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA). ASQA is the national regulator for vocational education and training (VET) and regulates RTOs to ensure that they comply with national standards and deliver high-quality vocational education and training services. ASQA is responsible for the initial registration of RTOs and conducts ongoing audits to monitor compliance with the Standards for RTOs. The audits are designed to ensure that RTOs are delivering training that meets the needs of industry and individuals, and that they are maintaining the standards required by the national regulator. During an audit, ASQA assesses the RTO's operations and training delivery against the standards and gathers evidence to support their findings. The audit process involves reviewing documentation, interviewing staff and students, and conducting site visits to assess the physical facilities and resources of the RTO.
